One Night

One night, not so long ago,
In tears and in despair,
I poured my heart out to The Lord
And suddenly, He was there.


He said , " My precious, precious child,
You need not carry all this pain.
I gave my life to dry your tears,
To heal brokenness and blame"


My heart is so much lighter now,
Not burdened by the fear,
For when this life is just too much,
I pray and He is here…


For all that it takes
Is one night with The King
To change all your tomorrows,
To change everything …
