I Will Obey

I argued with Lord about this path He sent me down
Told Him I thought I was walking on shaky ground
Tried to turn and run the other way
But the Lord in His decision would not sway

In scripture He reminded me that I am never alone
And as a child of God I should not go it on my own
His words said He is my strength in time of trouble
And will uphold me even when I stumble

God always has the best plan for me
Even though my humanness does not always agree
Therefore, I will allow my Savior to lead my way
In His plan for me, I will trust and obey
