Mountains rising in the distance
Where Earth touches sky
The purple splendor created
By the Lord who reigns on high.

Who could deny His existence,
Viewing such majestic scenes;
The scent of Alpine cedar;
The song of mountain streams?

Beyond the splendid mountains
I view vast grassy plains,
The elk there are grazing
Cooling in the gentle rains.

If I were to deny You Lord
The rocks would then proclaim
You are an awesome Creator,
So I continue to Praise Your name!
