We All Have Walls

by George Coulier © 2008

We all have walls
That hold us in,
Some of brick
And some of sin.

Our hearts that were bound
By our past and our pain,
Can be filled with hope
And a peace that will last.

For we are much more
Than the mirror sees.
Bound at birth by a lie,
But by the Truth, made free.
