Hello Lord, I've come to chat
About the coming day
Knowing You have plans for me
Means You must have Your way
So I offer up myself
My thoughts, my words, my deeds
Everything I give to You
The blossoms and the weeds.

I'm a long way from the line
And as I run the race
I realise that I'm not good
At seeking out Your face
Other things get in the way
Obliterate my view
