Blind

by Kathleen Higham

If I were blind
And could not see
When you held out your arms
To embrace, comfort me.

If I were blind
And could not see
When your heart touched mine
No color would there be.

If I were blind
And could not see
When the love poured out
No barrier, just He.

If I were blind
And could not see
When God looked down
We are all His, free

If I were blind
If I were blind
I would see through His eyes
Then my heart would find.

If I were blind
If I were blind
I would feel God's love
In our souls, defined.
