YE THAT LABOR AND ARE HEAVY LADEN

by Margaret Cagle

When God may seem so far away,
He did not move; I went astray.
When I feel forsaken and all alone,
I remember God's still on His throne.

God cares much more than I can know
When heartaches make me feel so low.
He sees my sorrows and all my tears.
He knows my doubts and all my fears.

When I'm discouraged and feel so lame,
I pray to God in Jesus' name.
I plead the blood for my great need.
I want to follow where He doth lead.

Oh to be wrapped in Jesus' love
And store my treasures up above!
Oh to be filled with God's Spirit each day
And use God's power and follow his way!

"Come unto Me," the Savior said.
Those weary paths too long you've tread.
You're heavy laden and much distressed.
Come to Jesus; He will give you rest.
