Doing Our Best

Whatever the task, we should do our best.
When we get tired, we can take a rest,
But time is wasted when we rest too much.
They call us lazy and slothful and such.

Yes, we live in the age of modern days.
We seem to waste time in so many ways.
On computers and TV's, we do waste time.
Cell phones make social life so sublime.

For time, do we have to give an account?
Our idle moments could quickly mount.
Whatever you do, put Christ number one
At the top of the list of what is done.

Let's use time wisely and do what we can
To please Christ and help our fellow man.
Don't be slothful and a time-waster too.
Let's do our best in all that we do.
