Eloquent words I could write
Reflective phrases could be said
The Lord took just simple words
And placed them in my head

He gave me this insight
Fashioning me like words
All aspects of my life

The Lord made it right.

Lord,
Something beautiful Your are
Something beautiful to me
Something beautiful that only
Some choose to even see.

The Lord is inspiring to me
My life now is Spirit led
When lifting me from the ashes
This is what He said;

A Father's love could see

At the very moment that
I cried out upon His name
He looked beyond my filth
He looked beyond my shame

Lord, You are the beauty
That lives inside of me
Something beautiful that only
Some choose to even see

You made something beautiful in me.
