Wait Upon the Lord

Wait upon the Lord, O ye saint.
Renew your strength and do not faint.
Mount up with wings as eagles do.
Just see what God can do for you.

When life may seem dark and dreary,
May God help you run and not be weary.
Get renewed strength from God, O saint.
Walk with the Lord and do not faint.

Christian, you may falter along the way.
Just trust in the Lord and always pray.
Stay in His word and depend on God
To lead you on life's road you trod.

Ask for fullness of the Spirit each day,
And in God's Holy Word you must stay.
You'll be surprised how you'll be blessed
If for your Savior, you do your best.
