"My Grace Is Sufficient"

by Margaret Cagle

Christian, how much pain can you endure?
Will God take it away? Can you be sure?
Paul had a thorn in the flesh , you see.
He asked God three times, "Remove it from me."

God chose not to take his affliction away.
Paul lived with the affliction every day.
God said, "Ye shall bear it, Paul, you see,
For My grace is sufficient for thee."

Paul served God as much as any man,
And accepted his almighty Savior's plan.
He knew that God had promised to give
Grace, so with this affliction he could live.

So Christian, can you understand how
God may choose for you to bear pain now?
Or He may choose to take it away.
Yes, He may choose to heal you someday.
