Lord I Come

Lord I come and give my life
To do with as You please
Take this apathetic child
Fill him with Your breeze
For I've been floating for so long
It's time I made a move
To reach the bank that You are on
My willingness to prove.

It's time for me to run the race
To take Your baton on
Deflecting all those constant blows
And keep my eyes upon
The targets You have set me
The things that I should do
To bring Your kingdom down to earth
A beacon just for You.
