To Be Content

by Margaret Cagle

My bills are paid, including the rent.
God supplies my needs, and I'm content.
I have clothes to wear and food to eat,
A roof over my head and shoes on my feet.

My Heavenly Father takes care of me.
In my heart I'm content as I can be.
His blessings are too many to count.
His blessings seem to ever mount.

God sends showers of blessings, indeed.
I can share with others who are in need.
God sends spiritual blessings also.
Blessings come in many ways, you know.

When the Devil rears his ugly head,
I'll turn him away and be Spirit led.
Jesus gives me contentment and peace,
If worries come, they have to cease.
