The Widow Gave Two Mites

Jesus sat over against the treasury one day.
He saw people giving along their way.
Many who were rich cast much in there,
But one poor widow cast in two mites with care.

Jesus called His disciples for He would mention
The faith of the widow, who got His attention.
"This poor widow hath cast more money in
Than all those other women and men."

"For they cast in of their abundance," indeed,
"But she cast in her all out of her great need."
This Scripture does not tell us more,
But maybe God sent her blessings galore.

Did you ever give Jesus all that you had?
Did it make you happy, or did you feel sad?
Jesus can see when we sacrificially give.
He sends us blessings as for Him we live.
