I wonder if she thought ; bath-time
The baby's wet face in view
Would someday wash away her sins
I wonder if she knew
I wonder if she thought ; bed-time
Her infant fast asleep
Would someday give her peace and rest
I wonder did she weep
I wonder if she thought ; skinned-knee
A little boy at play
Would someday through a spear in His side
Heal her hearts decay
I wonder if she thought ; work-time
With tools in their shop He stood
Would someday build atonements bridge
With only a piece of wood
...I wonder
