Future Plans

by Robert Hedrick

As I plan, I don't plan too far ahead,
In reaching this point, i could be dead.
Now I have made plans for this you see,
For I made them with Jesus at Calvary.

These are plans we never make too soon,
They may be used before this day's noon.
If not, they will be securely locked in,
Used at a time that only God knows when.

Without the plan, the future is a dread,
For an everlasting torture waits ahead.
A place to be avoided and indeed it can,
For God has given everybody, The Plan.

Jesus entered into the world God created,
With a plan to defeat the sin They hated.
The plan's forgiven my sins, one and all,
Not to fail as I hear heaven's roll call.
