A Vessel For Christ

Lord, I want to be a vessel
That is fit to serve Thee.
I will give up my pride.
A humble servant, I'll be.

Please take away the dross
That can get in the way
Of my service for you, Lord,
And give me wisdom, I pray.

Lord, a fine vessel for you
Is my ever burning desire.
A pure, clean vessel may I be
After I pass through the fire.

I want to be your witness
And tell the old, old story.
I want to serve you, Lord,
Until I go home to Glory.
