Saved To Serve

by Margaret Cagle

I saved you, my dear child.
You can go to heaven someday,
But I want you to work
As you wait, watch, and pray.

I saved you to serve Me
'Til your life here is done,
So go and tell the multitude
About Jesus Christ, My Son.

While you are here on earth,
There is a harvest to reap,
So Child, go work in my fields
As My commandments you keep.

Someday I will call you home,
But remember until that day,
There's so much on earth to do,
So work while you watch and pray.
