Never give in and have Faith

Outside is where the stars shine bright
But I was blinded by darkness I couldn't see the light .
I spent my life wondering when where and why
I couldn't see as my life and time passed me by

People telling me I will not succeed
And for a while that's what I truly believed
I was really sad and full of despair
It hurt so much I could hardly bear
My lord and God helped me see
So I gave my life to Christ and now I'm free

Free from the ones full of evil and greed
And I learned if you have faith then u will succeed

But I'm haunted by a voice that tries to tear me down
But the scary part is when I look I see no around
But when I was week the voice made me cry
And I lost faith and hope as the time passed by
So the evil voice won with his evil voice and lie
And I believed them till the day came to lay down and die
