The Secret Things Belong To God

We study God's Word more and more,
And we learn more than we knew before.
To others a message we don't want to send,
"Some things in the Bible I don't comprehend."

Then we study commentaries so we can see
If we can get the answers from a PHD.
We find at times men just make a guess
On difficult issues we understand less.

Maybe God keeps certain things sealed
Until we get to Heaven to be revealed.
You know the secret things belong to Him
Until someday, He may then reveal them.

God makes clear the things we should know.
Certain doctrines His Word doth clearly show.
He gives us commands to obey in His Book.
His commands are clear; just take a look.
