A Bright Future

Put on a smile, Christian, because your future is bright,
As the world becomes darker, we have The True Light.
There'll come a time when heaven will welcome us in,
Entering in only because The Light has paid for our sin.

Jesus is The Light of this world, He's God's Only Son,
Without His forgiveness, our sin battle will not be won.
With love for man, He entered this world where we live,
He had saving blood, each drop He was willing to give.

In the form of man, it was His Father's Word He taught,
Then being tempted by Satan, He refused to be bought.
He was innocent, yet He died for a world of lost sinners,
So no one need leave judgment a loser, but all be winners.

Jesus' death, burial and resurrection, gives us the right,
To make Him Savior, with life changes coming on sight.
Then the future gets better and suddenly becomes bright,
Someday entering heaven, being lead there by The Light.
