Delight Thyself In The Lord

Do you delight in pleasure, riches, and such,
Or maybe a cell phone with a soft touch?
Do you delight in a computer and internet,
Or do you worship your favorite pet?

Christian, God should be number one.
For us, God gave Jesus, His only Son
To come to earth to die on a cruel cross
For all our sins, He suffered loss.

Delight thyself in the Lord, my friend.
Stand on God's Word and never bend.
Put God first in your life each day.
Read God's Word often and always pray.

For God, a willing servant, let's be.
God bountifully blesses you and me.
Let us never from God's Word depart.
He'll give you the desires of your heart.
