The believer and the Atheist's view

by Michael Gardner

As I gazed into the distant skies his handiwork I see,
The wind seems to speak to me, of his great majesty.
You on the other hand may choose not to celebrate nativity
For to you he only holds a small place in history.

Again as I look at the flowers and the lofty cedar trees,
The sun, moon and the stars, and the sound of honey bees.
You on the other hand choose to call it evolution
And so you live a life of doubts never finding the solution.

I believe so very strongly in a heaven and a hell,
In a world beyond our very own, from which Lucifer fell.
You say it's all a myth, a figment of my imagination,
That there is no such thing, as the devil, Lucifer or Satan.

But if you choose not to believe in God, with all that has been said.
There is just no hope for you, and you are already dead.
It's just a matter of time and you'll realize, but it will be too late
You've finally made the evil one, determine your eternal fate.
