Be Strong

The Bible is the inspired word of God above
Given to His people that we may learn of His love
The Book of the Law should not depart from you
Day or night it is the source of all that you should do
Follow its direction and your path will lead to success
For when you walk in God's way; you He will bless

As your Father, God commands you to be strong
Be courageous, for to God's kingdom you belong
Walk in confidence; do not be afraid
Lean on the Lord; do not be dismayed
For God is with you wherever you go
He will be your protector as stormy winds do blow

Just as Joshua listened to all that God said
He trusted Him with all His heart for he could have fled
He chose to follow the Savior's leading hand
In order to take His people into the promised land
If we will but follow our precious Savior's lead
With His guidance for our life we can only succeed
