Many are the lessons I've learned over time
Many are the rocky roads and hills I've climbed
Many are the times that I have felt overwhelmed
These are the times that I am glad to have you at the helm

Many are the times that I was in deep despair
Many are the times that my soul felt bare
Many are the moments that have had me on my knees in prayer
These are the times I'm so glad my troubles you share

Many are the days that I have felt sad
Many are the hours that I have felt bad
Many are the burdens that I have had
These are the times that you make my heart glad

Even more are the moments that have brought much cheer
Many, many moments that I hold dear
Many are the days that have brought a happy tear
These are the times that I'm glad you're so near

Many are the moments of joy I've had in my life
Many are the moments of struggle and strife
But whether happy or sad; worried or assured
Jesus is right within my heart keeping me secured!
