He Supplies My Needs

Today I viewed four finches
Seeking food in my yard.
They were happily chirping.
To them, this was not hard.

I said, "Such happy creatures!
God loves little birds too."
He cares for them everyday,
And He cares for me and you.

We think about all our needs
And sometimes worry and fret.
Do we not serve a big God?
His promises, do we forget?

God feeds those little birds.
They seem to trust in Him.
Will He also supply our needs
As well as He cares for them?

I trusted God to save me,
And He did, yes, indeed!
I can also fully trust Him
To supply my every need.
