God's Grout

It's been so long since I could say
My heart is full this very day
A piece has been missing since my husband died
A special piece deep down inside
My heart has ached so much within
I didn't think it was possible to feel full again
But Jesus filled it with His love
And mixed in His peace from above
Yes, God has filled the empty spot
Sutured it together with a tight knot
He's allowing His love to heal it inside out
Filling the voids with His healing grout
He makes all my pain and hurts bearable
And makes my lonely heart repairable
God will take all of my sorrow
And help brighten someone else's tomorrow
By showing me how to pass His love on to others
For as our Father, we are to love one another
