Absolute Truth

I was asked, "Is there such a thing as absolute truth?"
I said, "Absolutely, read the Bible for the proof!"
"I am the way, the truth, the life" are words written in red.
"No one comes to the Father except through me," Jesus said.

I've been told, "Don't be so intolerant of other's beliefs,
They have a right to their opinions and their disbeliefs."
I said, "Yes, they can surely believe as they want,
But as a Christian it's my duty to lead them to the baptismal font."

We live in a melting pot of ethnic stew
Many different cultures and religions mixed through and through
We are to love everyone as our Savior above
Lead them to the Truth and the Father's love

Tolerance is for the most part good
But not when it keeps you from spreading God's word as you should
Jesus loves everyone unconditionally through and through
But He's intolerant of those who can't see what's true

He will call to you and love you until the day you die
But if you don't accept Him as Lord, God above and eternity you do deny
His grace and mercy to you He does invite
For He is the only WAY, the only TRUTH, and the only LIFE!
