Love of My Life

Valentine's is here just as it is each year
But instead of smiles, it has brought a tear
A tear for the memories of my love gone by
And for sweet memories of the love of my life that thankfully never die

It's just a day out of the year to remind us of the one we love
Part of our treasures that come from God above
So after some sad reminiscing, I thought of the life I live
And all of the wonderful blessings that my Savior gives

Everyday should be about love when you have Christ in your life
And I should just be thankful for the gift of once being a wife
For the greatest love I've ever received
Began the day that in Christ I first believed

GOD is love and there's none other love like it
It's so easy to receive when to Him you commit
So instead of being sad for the love I once had
The greatest love of my life is Christ, and I'm forever glad!
