Now

We cannot think apart from time
Because we are living in it
We cannot know what lies ahead
If sorrow weighs us down to quit.

We cannot think apart from time
Only God knows the beginning and end
Step out in faith and walk with Him
Don't fret what's around the bend.

We cannot think apart from time
Or envision what the future will hold
Just trust in God for everything
Be strong in the Lord, be bold.

We cannot think apart from time
God so understands our hesitation
So down He came, died for us
Making time for a personal relation.

We cannot think apart from time
When perfection will make us free
Then we will walk with our Father
Where time will no longer be.

We cannot think apart from time
Until we see around that bend
Discovering that time is endless
But time can be our friend.

We cannot think apart from time
Don't question what God will allow
With Him there is no past or future
For in Heaven there is only the Now.
