When Jesus Spoke The Word

The centurion loved his servant
Who had the palsy, suffering much.
The centurion came to Jesus
To ask for His healing touch.

The centurion had great faith
That if Jesus, a word would speak,
His servant would be healed,
And this healing, he did seek.

Jesus heard him and marvelled
At the centurion's faith, you see.
Jesus told him, "Go thy way.
This shall be done for thee."

When he checked on his servant,
Then the good news he heard.
His beloved servant was healed
When Jesus spoke the word.

Jesus' words are in the Bible.

Faith cometh by reading His word.
