Service For Christ Is Eternal

Do we trust in temporal things,
Those things that we can see,
Or trust in things we cannot see,
Which will last through eternity?

Many put their faith in money
And the joys that it can bring.
Those joys last but for a season,
For money is a temporal thing.

All the riches of this world
Will someday just fade away,
But what we do for our Lord
Throughout eternity will stay.

Let us trust in Jesus Christ.
He can save us from our sin.
Then we can witness for Jesus,
So lost souls we can try to win.

Do not trust in temporal things
That will certainly fade away.
The things we do for Jesus Christ
Are eternal, and they will stay.
