A Day To Show Love

Some people think Valentine's Day
Is just silly in every way.
Some think it is for stores
To make more money on that day.

Whatever your sentiments are,
You must admit it is nice
To show love to special ones,
Even if there is a price.

Red roses stand for love,
And candy says, "You're sweet!"
So give her roses and candy
And sweep her off her feet.

God showed us His great love
In a very special way
When He gave His only Son
To die on Crucifixion Day.

Jesus died for our sins.
He arose from the grave.
He shed His precious blood,
So He our souls could save.
