Dwell Together In Unity

by Margaret Cagle

Have you ever attended a church
Where the tension you could feel,
Where some members detested others,
And their compassion was not real?

Let's love our Christian sisters
And our brethren in the Lord.
Let's dwell together in unity,
And let's worship in one accord.

If others at times offend us
By the things they do and say,
We do not need to get revenge,
And for them, we need to pray.

Let us dwell together in unity.
It is good, and it is pleasant too,
For God's Holy Word tells us this.
And that is what we should do.
