A Lesson From The Shamrock

The word "Trinity" means
That God is three in one,
God the Father, the Holy Spirit
And Jesus is God the Son.

We can use a shamrock leaf
To explain this doctrine too.
One green leaf has three parts,
But it is one leaf; that's true.

When you see an Irish shamrock,
That leaf, so pretty and green,
Think of a living triune God.
Living is what green can mean.

God sent His Son from Glory
To die for the sins of men,
But now He lives, for He arose,
Victorious over death and sin!

God loves us all, including Irish.
In Ireland, the shamrock grows,
So teach the world an Irish lesson
About what the shamrock shows.
