Worthy To Be Praised

by Margaret Cagle

I think I will never understand
God's great, amazing love for me.
He sent His only begotten Son
To die for me on Mount Calvary.

I'm so undeserving and unworthy
Of such great love, I know,
But I am so very grateful
That to Calvary, He did go.

If I live to be one hundred,
My praise will always be,
"Praise God for sending Jesus
To save a sinful wretch like me."

Then throughout all eternity,
My praise will ever be the same.
I will not cease to thank Him
And praise His great holy name.

Jesus Christ is ever worthy
Of our love and our praise.
I'll praise Him and worship Him,
And my songs to Him, I'll raise.
