But God, I Trust

The pain too much
For me to bear
But God, I trust
For He does care

From when I first
Took on His Name
He quenched my thirst
And took my shame

He brought me from
Darkness to light
And gave me a song
To show His delight

Though evil comes
To steal my joy
Yet I become
Stronger with joy

For His Mercy and Grace
Abounds everyday
I shall finish the race
Keeping His Word and ways

Though the pain is great
And the road is rough
On God, I wait
To make me tough

Though I do not
Understand
I put my trust
In His Hand

For He is
Faithful
And He is
Able
