Praise The Lord

I’ve come today to praise the Lord
I’ve come today to sing
I’ve come today to lift Him up
To let His praises ring

I need no special answered prayer
To spur me on to praise
My praise should come regardless
Of the problems faced each day

For God is not my servant
He’s my Master, Lord, and King
And He says we ought to praise Him
To give thanks in everything

For God alone is worthy
He deserves our highest praise
And may His praise upon my lips
Be found there all my days
