The Pastor's Wife

She's gentle and loving
And sweetly sincere
As she embraces you warmly
You sense He is near

For her heart is so willing
And her eyes fill with tears
Whether joyful or sorrowful
Every part of her hears

Her voice like an angel
In prayer she will be
Arms lifted upward
With complete serenity

For she knows how to touch
And reach out to a friend
She will guide you firmly
To a place you can mend

The place that she takes you
Is deep in His word
Where peace overcomes you
Because you know He heard

And you marvel at this woman
Can you emulate her life
As a servant of Jesus
She's our Pastor's wife
