Inspiration

I love to sit with pen in hand
And wait for You to speak
I'm grateful for the words that come
For it's Your wisdom that I seek

It is to me a humbling grace
To hear the words You inspire
And prayerfully, I ask You Lord
To set their hearts on fire

As I write, I breathe You in
Your Holy Spirit fills me
And I am so contented here
Knowing others too will see

That You can work through anyone
If their heart is truly sincere
Words will come like a blazing fire
For those who want to hear

Each morning, as I ask You Lord
I say again, "Inspire"
I thank You for the words that come
You fulfill my hearts desire.
