Forgiven with Forgiveness

All my sins have been forgiven.
God is merciful unto me.
My soul is forever praising
The One with whom I'll spend eternity.

Faith has claimed the Savior's promise
For the great Redeemer's love.
Joyous praises to Him be raised
Unto God in heaven above.

My account is closed forever.
Jesus Christ has paid it all -
Shedding His blood, my sins to cover
Forgiving mankind for the fall.

There is now no condemnation
For us sinners so defiled.
Jesus hears our supplication
And guards our steps every mile.

How my countless sins depressed me;
Gave me sorrow, shame, and tears.
Though His anger should have crushed me;
He took from my heart all doubt and fear.

As my soul cried out in anguish
Beseeching pardon and release;
Jesus heard my tormented whimper
And brought me His kindness and His peace.

Now, my soul shall live forever.
No more can the Foe condemn
As I journey on to heaven,
Forgiveness and joy are found in Him.
