When God Ran

Almighty God's
Great love for man
Demonstrated to us
when our God ran

Came running to us
Arms open wide
Expression of love
He could not hide

Forgiving our sins
Prodigal sons
Rebelling no more
Our hearts He has won

Though we deserved judgment
Mercy received
Hugs and kisses
Hard to believe!

Too good to be true
This really His plan
Our lives forever changed
