THE GOODNESS OF GOD
I will sing of the goodness of God.
When in Your presence, I am awed.
Your mercies will endure forever,
This precious cord, I will not sever.

You are so merciful and full of grace,
I long to feel your warm embrace.
I can feel your goodness every day,
You are right beside me when I pray.

You long to bring me joy and blessing,
As my needs You are addressing.
To those who ask, You give good things,
And that is what Your love brings.

I give thanks to You, dear God,
You are my strength and my rod.
You are my rock and my shield.
It is through You that I am healed!
