Knowing You is Everything

"Who am I," quite often is the question I used to ask?
For many years I've wasted my time, making this question my task.
The truth is, I change in many different ways.
Just like everyone else, I have my good and my bad days.

I've come to find knowing You is everything and all I really need.
Knowing You is who I am. Yes, oh yes, indeed.
There's no need to search for who I am, nor who I'm meant to be.
Because knowing You Lord is everything; it's my very destiny.
