A thank You note to God

Father, thank You for the tender care You bestow on me;
Again and again You give so freely, God, so graciously…
I've never been hungry, nor have I ever lacked anything;
And I want to give You thanks, for all the good You bring.

Thank You for my husband, he is always there for me;
And for my daughter, she's sweet and lovely as can be.
Thank You for my little doggie, who's so soft to the touch;
For the daily walks with her that I enjoy so very much.

Father, thank You for shared laughter, and for kind neighbors;
For loving family and friends, one of Your many favors…
For peace and quiet, and the beauty of nature around me;
For the view from my window, which always inspires me.

I want to thank you, too, for putting a roof over my head;
For a closet full of nice clothes and a cozy, warm bed.
Thank You that I am alive today, and in fairly good health;
Thank You that You're in my life, You are my true wealth.

Thank You for Jesus, Father, He's my Savior, my Home;
In Him I am so richly blessed, and never ever alone.
God, I pray that I may never for granted this take:
You care for all my needs, big and small, without a break!

Thank You for grace and forgiveness, each and every day;
And for new chances time and again, whenever I stray…
Thank You that all of my prayers You so patiently hear;
That I can walk with You, great Almighty God, without fear.

Thank You for holding me tight, close to Your loving heart;
And for the blessed hope I have, that we will never part.
What more could I long for, I have everything I need —
With a Father like You, dear God, I'm truly blessed indeed!
