The Example

Of how bad a person can be
But God took me by the hand
So all of you could see
That He will use a person
A person full of sin
And open up the heart of those
Who hold their sin within
I'm a good example
Of a sinner gone astray
Who suddenly came to know the Lord
And I'll share with you today
For I cry out to God each day
And thank Him for His Grace
And I want to take you with me
When we see His loving face
I'm a good example
If you knew my evil way
You'd be ready for the Lord
To come for you someday
And as I pray to God tonight
I don't know where to start
Please gather all my family Lord
And live inside their heart
Yes I'm a good example
Of everything not to do
But God came along and fixed me
And He'll do the same for you
