We all want to go to Heaven
We just don't want to die
And we have such mixed emotions
And cannot understand why
For every gift of life we see
Leaves us needing more and more
And human beings cannot let go
Even to walk through Heaven's door
But our God sent His only Son
And Jesus bore that cross
To take away our human greed
So we would never feel loss
Now some of us are not convinced
Of a better life then this
And we worry about our belongings
And a moment we might miss
So remember what our God has said
Someday every knee will bow
And confess that Jesus Christ is Lord
So why not do it now
The only way to Heaven
Is to ask Him to forgive your sin
Then He will come inside your heart
And you will walk right in
So live this life in total peace
As if you have no care
For Heaven's door is open wide
And we will all meet there
