Life's manifold cares and worries,
Though part of the Christian's lot;
Needn't make believers anxious -
So teaches us the Word of God.

In everything, by earnest prayer
And supplications seek God's face;
With thanksgiving bring your requests
Before the heavenly throne of grace.

Let nothing trouble or disturb you;
Always rejoice in Jesus Christ;
Then through Him, the peace of God
Will keep your heart and mind.

Yes, rejoice and pray to the Lord always,
And stand steadfast in the faith…
