Today I looked up in the sky
And wondered
Could this be the day
When the trumpet sounds
And we children of God
Are changed and fly away
It could happen in a moment
When we hear the trumpet sound
And in the twinkling of an eye
We will soar up to the sky
Today "could" be that glorious day
When Jesus comes to take us
Far far away
To our heavenly home
Where forever we'll stay
When the trumpet sounds
On that great day
