Help Me Find The Way

You know how much I love them
They are always on my mind
I pray that You protect them
In them such joy I find

I want to be in their life
Lord help me find the way
I have so much love to give them
So many things to say

Sometimes I feel a sadness
Maybe I've spoken out of turn
Am I lacking understanding
It gives me great concern

I do not have the answers
But I pray for wisdom today
Please bring them to my loving arms
And teach me what to say

For they are truly part of me
In my body their mother grew
I close my eyes and see her
And I know she came from You

You see my tears my heart's desire
I pray my girls will see
How much I want to share their life
Let them spend some time with me

For time flies by so quickly
In a heartbeat they'll be grown
And their mom will pray and ask You
Lord don't let me be alone

And I too pray that hearfelt prayer
When time has passed her by
That we will be together
To You my God I cry
